Each band is priced on its own, so the seats you already have keep their price and adding someone never changes what you were paying for the rest of the team. The annual rate and the band discount stack.

How contacts affect your bill
Storing contacts is free within your plan's fair-use cap — your user table is your contact list, so we don't charge you for having one. What is priced is your audience: the distinct people you reach with bulk sends, sequences or automations in a billing period. One-to-one email isn't counted; it's part of every seat. Your tier also sets how much bulk email you can send: up to 12 emails a month for each contact it covers, so the included 1,000 allows 12,000 bulk emails a month.

If a send would take you past your tier, Clivly tells you before it goes out and emails the account owner. Nothing is charged silently.
Credits
Credits pay for AI. Email doesn't use them: one-to-one email is part of every seat, and bulk email is covered by your audience tier. Paid plans include an allowance of credits per member each month. Sending stops when a workspace becomes read-only.
Asking your CRM a question costs 1 credit, or 3 credits for one of 800 characters or more. Drafting an email costs 2 credits, and each reply from the chat widget's support assistant costs 1 credit. Failed answers are refunded. AI stops when credits run out; it never goes over, so you are never billed for more than you have. Connect your own AI provider key and AI uses no credits at all.
What the trial includes
14 days of Scale with unlimited members and connected apps, no card, 200 credits to try AI with, and up to 200 emails. If you reach the end without subscribing, the workspace turns read-only rather than disappearing: you keep full access to your data and can export it, and nothing sends or syncs. Subscribe at any point and everything unlocks immediately. Workspaces left unpaid are deleted after 60 days, and we email you before that happens.
